Out with the old, in with the new

Here we are again, almost at the end of another year!
What will the New Year bring for the Edinburgh and Lothians property market?
Given general economic conditions we don’t expect an upturn but equally we don’t expect major falls in the market. Housing is a necessity for all, not just an investment, so we do expect demand to remain similar in 2012.
However, mortgage availability will remain extremely limited and difficult.
In general sellers will need to remain realistic about their price expectations whilst buyers will again be cautious about what they offer.
There are buyers out there though so if you’re thinking about a move give us a ring and we’ll be happy to chat about your plans.
